Which is larger in terms of land area, Chateau de Versailles in France or China's burt down Old Summer Palace?

I'm trying to find the largest imperial residence ever built in terms of land area. I got stuck in this comparison. No site gives me exact figures and converting into the same units is getting me nowhere. So, which had a larger land area, Chateau de Versailles of France at its largest or the Old Sumemr Palace in China which the Brits and the French burned down?
