My husband steals money that I saved! Is it hopeless?

You need to do what your heart is telling you to do...If you still want to stay there and be with him for the baby and everything. If you have a bank account open another that he doesnt know about or just hide it in different places in your house. I know that my boyfriend likes to spend money all the time so I used to put money away in different parts of my purse or wallet...good luck
