Whats the method to shingeling a newly built storage shed roof?

Its a 12 x 12 shed with 1/2 in plywood roof panels. I never did a roof before. What will I need, and how is it done? Bottom to top?, top downward? Also theres a slight gap at the roof peak where the plywood panels meet. Any help appreciated.
