What is the difference between the 2 types of skeletal muscle tissue?

The three types of muscle are striated muscle, cardiac muscle and smooth muscle. The striated muscle is made up of contracting fibres which allow for skeletal muscles to control movement. The cardiac muscle, as the name suggests, is heart muscle (primarily striated). Smooth muscles are controlled by involuntary nerve impulses which allows organs and glands to move.
