Problem regarding my Nikon D40 camera - How to capture the photo with slightly movement background.?

I also have a D40...great camera. I ume the problem you're talking about is blurring. Try using the auto or S mode and see what happens. You know you can up the ISO to 3200..it's called HI 1. Don't ask me why they don't just call it 3200.
