Is laying sod a DYI thing, or something I should hire someone to do?

I have a small city yard (maybe 200 sq ft or less, haven't measured yet) that is badly in need of new gr. I'd like to lay sod. I know you have to dig up old gr, till, roll, etc., but is this something that I should hire someone to do, or can I do it myself on a weekend (renting equipment from Home Depot)? Also, are some types of sod better than others? (I live in Wisconsin).
